Co-Founder & Design Lead — Fiasco Industries
Where computer science meets business strategy meets design. Building EduAid Explorer's user experience for students who need it most.
I am the co-founder and design lead at Fiasco Industries, where I lead UI/UX design, front-end development, and brand identity for EduAid Explorer — South Africa's first free AI assistant for government student funding.
My background is unusual: BSc Computer Science from Wits (Computer Science and Applied Mathematics), Business Management studies from UJ (Accounting, HR, Economics), an RE5 Financial Regulatory certification, and professional experience leading teams of 16+ in high-pressure operational environments.
This combination means I understand the code, the business model, the compliance requirements, and the user — and I design products that work for all four.
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, responsive design, mobile-first UI/UX. I build interfaces that work on low-cost mobile devices in under-resourced communities.
RE5 certified. Financial advisory at Discovery. Business Management studies (UJ). I understand compliance, institutional sales, and how organisations make purchasing decisions.
Led a team of 16 agents. Improved AHT, CSAT, and QA scores. Built data-driven retention strategies. I know how to manage people, measure performance, and deliver results.
